The Arkham Knight took pity and freed the man, not realizing that the man would become Warmonger, and would go on to become one of the biggest threats of Gotham City. While they were looking for proof of the Magistrate's wrongdoing, they instead found a man held sleeping in a cryo-prison. However, this was merely the opening act in his plan to use the tech of the Mad Hatter against the city of Gotham, a tactic that the Scarecrow is currently using in "Fear State." It all started to fall apart for Astrid Arkham and her knights when they infiltrated a long-forgotten Magistrate facility. The villain then detonated a bomb that left a bat-shaped crater in the ground, effectively distracting the Magistrate by pinning everything on Batman. Although it wasn't her intention to do this, Future State: Gotham #5 (by Joshua Williamson, Dennis Culver, Giannis Milonogiannis, ALW's Troy Peteri), reveals that she inadvertently presented him with the perfect opportunity to escape and formulate his own plan. And unfortunately, the Arkham Knight is responsible for setting him loose on the city. Riddler trophies are still pain in my a tbh, it's just my personal preference that riddler trophies should either be lesser or replace with some straight up findable puzzles.WARNING: The following article contains spoilers for Future State: Gotham #5, on sale now from DC Comics.Īs it turns out, the greatest threat to the future of Gotham City isn't the Magistrate, but the powered-up villain Warmonger. missions could be repetitive: You go to an area, you face goons, you secure the area by stealth / straight up combat, rinse and repeat this for probably 3-4 times, then you meet the boss ( which is the reason why I actually enjoy linear open world games rather than grindy open world games ) To some of the people, the stealth kills.

1 mistake and you are penalized, so you would have no choice but to start over just to get the 3 stars
#Batman arkham night trial
Unfortunately, while trying to 100% achievement this game, I wasn't able to complete as the remaining achievements are too time consuming and with trial and error you will feel the repetitiveness starting to creep in. Playing on a keyboard is alright/ doable but controller users would benefit more due to the control fluidity. Gameplay would certainly benefit controller users much better. No underwater exploration, there's no 'Batmarine', so you'll just be ground / sky Slightly above than minimal findings of bugs and glitches, game is moderately optimized, there are certain cutscenes/ FMV that caps your FPS There is no '1 skill or 1 item to kill them all' factor

Combat relies heavily on skill / timing / how effective you are able to hold on to the chain combo. Double teaming missions are really excellent as you get to combat as 2 different characters Decent graphics considering this game launched at the era of GTA V, Witcher 3, MGS DLC contents are pretty nice as well as you get to play different Batman allies. Variety of villains to be encountered, Mad Hatter, Riddler, Penguin, Two Face, etc Screenwriting is well scripted from dialogues to combat to AI converse behaviour Navigating from one place to the other is very very quick, you can either use the car or super grapple Playing on hard difficulty, AIs are not dumb, they are well coded, however AI is still suffering from minor cases of 'lack of peripheral vision' If you want to compare to other games, the tools / gadgets available is pretty decent, perfectly balanced, nothing too OP Different kills ( takedowns ) / variety of gadgets that can be used. Combat system - hit, dodge, counter, parry, chain combos, just like your DS / Sekiros

Decent storyline / plot, nothing too cliche
